"Waking" is a moving image response to Richard Strauss's "Also Sprach Zarathustra." Three screenprinted phenakistoscopes reveal visuals of pupil dilation when looking at the sun. The textured prints echo the richness of the composition and the human emotion within the composition’s orchestration.
